Nothing major but one of the bathrooms was a tad smelly from drains and needed to get used to opening front door.

The aircon wasn’t the best, and the master en-suite smelt really bad we had to keep the door shut.

Although away from the town, noise did seem to carry, if you like the window open expect to hear bin lorries and cars trundling up and down the main road most nights. I agree with others that there is a nasty smell in the master bath room. Nearest amenities are down the hill so you can't just pop out for a drink anywhere (But we did expect this).

No shops within realistic walking distance

Located a little out of the way. It is a 20 minute walk downhill to the coast with a very steep hill to climb on the way back up. A taxi back up the hill is 5euros. There are no shops or supermarkets nearby and it is probably best to have a car. The sun does not reach any part of the house until 12.30 earliest which means that the balconies and pool area are quite cold in the mornings. We enquired about using the communal pool pictured on the house booking information as the gate to the pool was locked and we did not have a key to access. The agent wasn't aware that there was a communal pool and could not organise access for us which was a shame as it would have been nice to have some sun during the mornings. The bathroom on the ground floor had a few issues which we reported but were not fixed during our stay - the shower did not drain away, the shower head fixing was broken and the light above the shower was out.
