“Good location with plenty of space but tired and jaded internal decor”

The location is very good - 10 mins walk to the Sagrada Familia - a nice neighbourhood . A spacious apartment with good size kitchen. Beds clean and comfortable

To be improved

The property is in need of updating and is “tired” and underwhelming! The apartment only soft seating is a brown sofa that needs replaced and I didnt want to use it during my stay! The dining table has seating for 4 - there were 7 of us in the 4 bedroom apt! With a bit more care and attention the apt could be much nicer - would not want to stay longer than a weekend!

Elevator is broken, which is important with heavy luggage. We have to bring our luggages to second floor and dragged them down to first floor. The entire rooms electric power shut off every time we open the main door. Very unusual to BnB that we stayed before.

There was an ongoing renovation work ongoing at the apartments above hence the noise was disturbing. One of the towels kept was infested with mold. The check in instruction was incorrect. It indicated that the property was located on the 3rd floor meanwhile it was on the 1st floor. This brought a lot of confusion at check in. The property has a lot of issues. The lift was not working. There was no cleaning offered for my entire 8 night stay

The best

The beds were comfortable, with air conditioned rooms. there was enough space for all 8 adults visiting. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped. Nice and clean. Host was helpful with using the key App to the apartment.

To be improved

There were a few things that made our stay incomplete. First of all, there was not enough hot water for all of us at the end of the day. We had to wait for the next day to shower. We also couldn't find rubbish bags and toilet paper (That were supposed to be provided), even though the host said there should be extras available. The host didn't help when we tried asking about these issues. Also, we didn't know that there is an insurance policy of having the electricity connected to the front door, having all the lights in the apartment turn off when one opens the door.
