Tenerife Dreams Coffee&Bed

Over a week after my stay at Coffee and dreams ended , I have still NOT RECEIVED the refund due, of the additional "Security deposit" demanded from me when I checked in. And nobody was at the premises to give me my refund at the time I checked out.

It was really noisy and I couldn't get to sleep because of the noise and lights. The floor creaks and the doors have loud locks, as well as the walls being so thin that I could hear the person in the room next to me snoring as if he were in the same room. Also, the wall to the hallway was open over the room which allowed the noise and the light in. Also, they really, really need to invest in another bathroom. There is one "nice" bathroom and the other you can barely fit in. The only time I was able to use the bathroom when I needed to was when I first got there because it was fairly early. The rest of the time I had to wait (sometimes for quite a while) even when I was in a rush. I was had to use the shower in the main shower room because the "nice" bathroom was occupied and I had an appointment. This means I had to walk through the main area in my towel while other people were checking in, and I didn't feel too comfortable about it. There needs to be at least one bathroom in the 1st or 2nd section of rooms so you're not walking across all the common areas to get to one.

The beds were insanely bad, made so much noise. Also there was a huge space in the wall empty, and when i say empty i mean there is no wall, so you could hear perfectly even the breathing of the other guests

Too little privacy. There are gaps between the ceiling and the door to let light go through to other "rooms", which are not really rooms but separated sections of the same room....it felt like sleeping directly next to strangers, who were extremely rude and loud, banging the doors and suitcases against the wall at 5:30 am. (Out of the guesthouse's control, obviously). The small toilet can not be locked, another guest could walk in at any time, while using the toilet, very unpleasant feeling. No view from the room, just a wall.

The door knobs should be replaced because it is extremly hard to open them. The first night we could open them, the next morning it was impossoble to lock it. We asked for help from another guest, he closed it after a few minutes. The next morning he closed himself out of the room, because of the bed locks. The wooden floors are too noise. One night we had warm water, the another one there were just cold. There were no windows in our room, the morning the air gets bad.
