“Amazing hotel - exclusive and decorated to a very high standard.”

The best

This is in a great area with the beach right next to the property and lots of nice restaurants nearby. The best thing was the lovely breakfast waitress Alba who was so lovely and caring! She gave my friends and I first class service. The rooms were decorated to an extremely high standard with quality fittings and a luxurious feel. The cleaning was also very good. The whole place is immaculate and feels brand new. The view at breakfast (from the terrace) was magical but my favourite thing is the swim up swimming pool which is lit up at night and the comfy delux sun loungers for two or three! We are planning to come back…

To be improved

The safe did not work in room 2. The hotel provided a key though.

Rooms were in great condition, nicely cleaned every morning. Amazing to be able to access the pool from the room. Temperature of the pool is perfect and heated. Unbeatable location on the beach. Will deffo return.

To be improved

The only issue I had was the staff. I found the morning team a bit overwhelmed at breakfast - had to wait 20 mins for table, in the sun, and eventually walked away and she kindly offered to serve food to my room. (probably short staffed - she was doing her best but was visibly stressed which then rubbed off on me) the team also weren’t proactive during the day and I felt a bit like I was annoying them asking for a drink or asking questions about the menu. From a commercial sense the property then missed out on extra revenue - as I preferred just to go and get my own drinks and food instead of eating in house. When I arrived I got ignored by the bar guy and just made my way to the room. It made my feel a bit like there is a ‘that’s not my department’ attitude that I see in big companies, but that attitude doesn’t work in a small boutique hotel unfortunately.

The room cleaning was very good, but one of day, we had someone who had just started, and unfortunately, she didn't do a very good job. She didn't replace water bottles or coffee pods, and the room didn't look very clean or smell nice, not to the standards of other days. I mentioned it, and she replaced the water bottles and coffee pods immediately. I understand it was her first day, but didn't she get some induction or manual on how to clean the rooms, especially in such a high-end establishment? I still would go back, though! Loved everything about it.
