The best

Very comfortable room and bathroom. We had our own private patio even. Breakfast was amazing! The 3 staff we met throughout our stay were very friendly and helpful whenever we needed it. Location is great, just a few steps from las setas.

To be improved

No 24/7 staff and emergency numbers failed us when we really needed it! Unfortunately we had an unusual situation happen to us. Power went out and we were stuck in the elevator. The thing is, there is no staff around 24/7, and it was already 10pm, so there was no one. We pressed the alarm button and no one came. There was a phone on the elevator, but it didn’t work. There were no signs with emergency phone numbers or anything. We had barely any phone signal to contact the staff and when we did call the emergency number no one pickup or replied! We were luckily able to sort of communicate with firefighters through the phone even though they did not speak english, the call was cutting and we had 5% battery on our phones. On top of that, it was 43 oC (110 oF) and there was no fan or anything. After we got out, it was hours before energy came back and we didn’t have access to the receptions a/c control, so we had to stay in the heat and wait. At that point, after we had already left the elevator with the firefighters help, they were aware of the situation and could have sent someone from staff to turn the a/c on, but didn’t. So, we had to wait for hours in the unbearable heat. That being said, next morning, staff asked about the situation and apologized saying that the 3 owners of the hotel were travelling in italy and they are responsible for the emergency calls, that it was unusual situation. Without us asking, they decided to refund our stay for the inconvenience for which we are incredibly grateful. I do believe it was an unfortunate and unusual situation and that’s why I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN, eventhough they i believe they should prepare better for emergencies when the owners are unreachable. I don’t recommend using the elevator when there is no staff around!!!! And have with you emergency numbers, like that of the police and firefighters!!!

The staff were incredibly welcoming, warm, and inviting. Despite the language barrier, we felt extremely welcomed at our stay. We let the staff know that on our last day, we would be leaving early in the morning so we would have to skip breakfast. They offered to prepare us our breakfast that very evening and store it in our room’s fridge so that we could have it in the morning before we left. How sweet! Breakfast was a wonderful surprise! We did not realize that it included, let alone delivered to our doors every morning. The food was delicious and plentiful, with a lot of variety (meats, cheeses, breads, yogurt, pastries, coffees, etc). It was served in the morning at the time we requested and was splendid to have on our terrace. The terrace was spacious and had multiple types of seating (couch, tanning chairs, chairs) which only enhanced our stay. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was modern and the shower was very relaxing. One of the best experiences/stays I have ever had. I could not recommend The Clover more.

There was a smell (moisture?) coming from the bathroom. However, it was a very minor problem for us and did not really affect the quality of our stay.

Excellent location. Room is big and clean. Bed very comfortable. All the hotel is very clean. Staff very friendly. Breakfast very good and on time served in the room. I would stay again in the future if I come back to Sevilla.
