“Perfect for a large group of young people”

The apartment is big and has all the facilities. The location is good, easy to get everywhere by foot or by bus. The metro station is a 5-7 minute walk. There are 4 double and twin bed rooms and 2 sofas in the living room. We stayed as a group of 7 comfortably. Though the most comfortable and bright rooms are on the ends of the apartment (it's long and narrow, going through the entire house). There is a washing machine and dryer, and two air conditioners, plus a TV with Netflix and YouTube. The host is very responsive and kindly provided a list of recommended restaurants and attractions. Check-in is super easy; you just get the link, which you use to open the street door and apartment. No keys are needed. Ideal for a big group of people. I would book this apartment again if I come to Barcelona with a big group of friends again.

To be improved

The apartment is on the fifth floor with no elevator, which makes it hard to get there even for young people. I can't imagine how senior people can get there every day. The bedroom, which faces the street, is bright and comfortable but becomes very noisy if you open the window (and you would like to open it at night during summer). The apartment is long and narrow, so if you open the windows, the drafts are strong. It would be nice for the host to provide more washing machine and dishwasher pods, as well as toilet paper. For a 7-day stay, we were provided just one pod for the dishwasher and one pod for the washing machine, so we had to buy washing powder and wash the dishes by hand. There was only one garbage bag, so we used ones from the grocery store. Also, there were not enough clothes hangers—up to five for the entire apartment. The Nespresso coffee machine was not working properly - we bought the right capsules, but it was making a smaller amount of coffee than it should, once in three or four tries. I believe that it needs to be cleaned or replaced. But there is a decent coffee shop in the same house called Syra Coffee. Virtual keys are questionable from a security standpoint. The website shows the exact address and apartment number, so if an outsider gets the link, they will be able to access the apartment without issues. By the way, there is no safe box in the apartment. I hope that the virtual keys link is at least invalidated after each stay, but it would still be better to not show the address on the website.

Beautiful apartment with a stunning terrace. Very clean and comfortable stay in the perfect location.

To be improved

2 bedrooms overlooking the street were noisy at night but probably a given in the area. No air conditioners in the bedrooms but whole apartment very well ventilated.
