You absolutely cannot beat the location of this hotel.
The hotel is incredibly clean and well laid out.
The breakfast was great, with a combo of buffet and a la carte.
Our check in process was amazing and the staff is excellent.
All around an excellent experience and would absolutely stay here again.
Overall a positive experience, and the pricing was reasonable for the eventful weekend.
“Absolutely beautiful”
Absolutely beautiful and stylish hotel in Madrid for sure. Loved staff, rooms and its amenities. Highly recommend for family stay
“Truly memorable experience. Beautifully designed hotel and rooms, attentive staff, delicious food; excellent location.”
A beautifully designed hotel, attentive hospitality team, delicious food and beverage experiences and unforgettable special memories. I shared with guest services my idea of proposing to my girlfriend at our room and the entire team went above and beyond to make this a truly special stay, caring for all the details I had requested and they suggested, and they even treated us to a special Mr and Mrs Cake, which was so sweet. Ahmed, Daniele, Francisco, and the rest of the crew made sure the rest of the staff knew about the special occasion and everyone congratulated us; which made us feel like royalty. I’m so grateful for accommodating the specific suite request I had; it made such a difference. The bath tab was so good and those special Labo scented bath salts so relaxing. Also, we were so thankful for receiving a room so early morning upon arrival from our overnight flight. Punch room cocktails were spectacular. Oroya restaurant menu was incredible and very delicious. Scarpetta breakfasts were generous, tasty, and varied. It’s a shame it is winter and your rooftop terrace and pool were closed, but hope to come back to enjoy them.
“Phenomenal Return Visit with Exceptional Staff”
I had a fantastic stay at The Madrid Edition. I received a suite upgrade, and the room was beautiful, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The service was outstanding—the team even kept the kitchen open past hours when I arrived jet-lagged, which I greatly appreciated. They were also wonderful with gluten-free options, offering delicious and safe choices throughout my stay. The hotel’s central location—steps from great shopping and restaurants—made it even better. Overall, a truly exceptional experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.
“Perfect stay in Madrid”
We stayed at the Madrid Edition for 3 nights during our trip to Spain. You absolutely cannot beat the location of this hotel. It's centrally located for everywhere you want to go in the city and we walked most places. If you are traveling during the holidays it does get very busy outside the hotel due to the toy store next door, but the local police were very friendly and let us through to get into our hotel when there was a crowd. The hotel is incredibly clean and well laid out. For a luxury hotel it has an extremely cozy vibe and the main area where the lobby is has a great bar and vibe especially in the later evening. Our check in process was amazing. The gentleman who checked us in was so kind and welcoming to the property. We absolutely loved our room. The bed is extremely comfortable and the shower was amazing! All around an excellent experience and would absolutely stay here again.
“Nice Hotel but Next Time Will Avoid the Lowest (Dark) Room Types”
I booked this stay several months ago. When our stay was getting closer I noticed the hotel seemed nearly full and that cash rates were sky-high. Other hotels were also all fully booked, and/or very high prices. Once I arrived at the hotel I realized what was going on. In May the NFL announced they would play an American football game in Spain for the first time ever and it was exactly on the weekend we were staying there. Hotel prices went up after that but thankfully I had already secured a "normal" price. As is quite unusual with Marriott chain, our upgrade as Ambassador Elite was not that great but we must have been among the guests paying the cheapest room rate for that weekend and the hotel was full so I cannot blame them. In November having a terrace is not particularly useful, and the room was facing a wall so it was somewhat dark. Natural light is quite important to me, it made the room a bit depressing. I mentioned this at check-out when they asked if we had a nice stay. It was not a complaint, of course I knew they cannot make miracles and we were not going to have a suite. After an honest conversation, to my surprise, they offered bonus points for the "bad" upgrade and said they hope we will come back. It definitely ended the stay on a positive note and it will indeed be a draw to come back. Breakfast was combo of buffet and a la carte, no limit on what we could order. The menu was quite interesting and was on par with a luxury hotel brand such as EDITION. Overall the lone issue we had was the room but it would be easy to avoid this problem in the future: now that I know, I would simply book a room type a bit above the standard room to make sure we avoid the lesser ones, even if it means having to pay a bit more. It will be worth it.
“A Stunning Stay at The Madrid Edition — Can’t Wait to Return”
We had an incredible stay at The Edition Madrid. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and noticeably larger than most European hotel rooms. Plenty of storage, excellent air conditioning, and the windows even opened slightly for fresh air. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the rain shower had great pressure and actually got hot. Overall, a very well-appointed space that made the stay feel upscale and relaxed. The lobby and entry areas were stunning, and the lobby bar became one of our favorite spots. It appeared they were prioritizing hotel guests, which we really appreciated. Even when the bar looked completely full, the staff somehow managed to make space and find us a comfortable spot for a drink every time. The only thing we missed was the rooftop—since it was cold, the pool, bars, and (I think) a restaurant up there were closed for some construction. It would’ve been great to see the space to understand what a summer stay would be like, but it wasn’t a big deal. The location was perfect: close to Chocolatería San Ginés, Mercado San Miguel, Plaza Mayor, Sol, Gran Vía, and really most of central Madrid. We even walked to the Prado. And for anything else, the Metro is right there. Having a Corte Inglés next door for quick essentials was also convenient. Fantastic stay overall. We can’t wait to return.
