The best

Beautiful very comfortable room with air conditioning. Location was ideal with common room just outside our door. Parking can be an issue during the busy lunch hour but mellows oit in the afternoon. Wonderful place to stay. Host is also amazing!

To be improved

Nothing. I guess if you don’t want to walk up a few flights of stairs then this location may not be for you, thus no elevator.

“A great stay in a lovely house and idyllic location.”
The best

It was an idyllic location. Small walled village. Terri sent us a link for nearest car park. No cars in village all car parks outside wall. Short walk to Manor and Robert met us there. Lovely room with roof terrace. Terri booked restaurants for all 3 nights for us as it was weekend. Robert recommended wine tasting at Fabulista which was great - we were only ones on tour. The underground passages at tourist information were worth seeing as it explained history. Santa Maria church was a good visit. You have to go on guided tour in Spanish but door screen was fantastic and inside church good as well. Lovely alleyways with bars and restaurants. We had breakfast at cafe Velar in the main square which was very good. We had a very relaxing stay for 3 nights and never moved the car. Thank you Terri and Robert for your hospitality.

To be improved

The only thing that could gave improved our stay was access to a fridge. I mentioned this to Terri and she is already sourcing one

The best

Terri was a wonderful host of a lovely property. We had done little planning for our 2 night stay and Terri made suggestions for dinners/activities and made reservations as well. She also gave us recommendations to visit in-town bodegas. We loved the air-conditioned One Wine shop in the square - great option for wine-tasting and super friendly host. Parking isn't available in town so she met us at the parking area and drove us to an available spot (the St John/Paul festival was on so it was quite busy). Overall great stay in a beautiful part of Spain.

To be improved

Our room at the manor house was lovely and had a terrace great for early morning coffees BUT it was directly above Calle Mayor and the noise from the band celebrating the last night of the festival was intense keeping us awake most of the night. My daughter's room at the back was apparently quiet SO if you are staying over the last night of fiesta or when a band is playing in the square, stay in a back room NOT over the street unless you want to be awake all night. No noise on the 2nd night.

Suggestions on further items - a fridge (even if it was just in the lounge area). An iron for those of us living out of a suitcase.
