“One of my favorite summer destinations”
The best

I often come to Alegria Mar Mediterrania, especially for the bachata festivals taking place not far away. The staff is just amazing, helpful and friendly. The hotel is ideally situated few steps away from the beach. Enjoying the sun on the balcony is great. The breakfast and dinner buffets (I have not tried lunch) are varied and tasty. I have only good memories of the place. I will be back :)

Our experience at this hotel was deeply disappointing, primarily due to the unprofessional and rude behavior of the staff. From the moment we walked in, instead of a warm welcome, a staff member abruptly emerged from the back and shushed us with hand gestures, setting a negative tone for our stay. Throughout our visit, we were repeatedly told to be quiet, even when speaking at normal volumes. The situation escalated when another guest became confrontational with us in the spa area. We reported the incident to management, expecting support or at least an apology, but were met with indifference and the dismissive response: "What do you want us to do about it?" At no point did anyone take responsibility or offer any form of apology, making us feel unwelcome and ignored.

“Great place for a relaxing stay at the beach”
The best

Very nice and service minded staff, especially the cleaning team on the 4th floor that we stayed at. Location was really good and the facilities in the hotel (spa, gym, beach access etc.) was great.

To be improved

The breakfast was almost the same every day and lacked some more healthy options, but was really good. It would be great to have live music every night.

The reception staff was beyond helpful and friendly ☺️☺️♥️ I can only say good things about them.

The restaurant staff was a bit rude and abrupt. My room had signs of not being properly cleaned and there was some dust.

Great location. Rooms were clean, very well noise insulated. It has convinced to be just in front of the beach. Restaurant offers very good breakfast and dinner too. No families with small children.

Rooms seem to be little small.
