Tivoli La Caleta Resort

Beautiful hotel, even better than the pictures make it look. Staff were excellent, all very accommodating and made you feel important. Multiple great pool areas to choose from - we liked switching between the main pool which has some good chilled house music on the afternoon and then the quieter adult pool. Food was great from the breakfast selection , to the pool side restaurant (guilty) which has a fantastic selection (must try the vodka rigatoni!) and then exceptional dinner restaurants with Seen and Yakuza were the food was amazing . Location also great. Can take a lovely stroll along the beach front to other bars and restaurants. We really loved our stay and hope to be back!

Third time staying here, we love this hotel, it’s clean, modern, smells amazing, nice lounge area in the evening and gorgeous sunshine walks by the seaside, nice pool area, all the staff very friendly and helpful Only suggestion is that the bell boy more regularly man’s the taxi port as one night another group took our taxi because the taxi drivers never ask for your room number then another night a fake taxi picked us up outside the hotel and had to walk us to a cash point to pay and charged us more (we only realised once in)

This hotel has all the amenities you would expect from a good 5 star hotel. The staff in particular are excellent and generally very helpful and friendly. So why not a five star review? The things that were not so great for us were: 1. Complete absence of any senior management making their presence known to the guests and generally checking everything is ok. This seemed at odds with our experience at many 5 star hotels all over the world. 2. As with many buffet restaurants the warm/hot food was not warm/hot unless cooked for us at one of the cooking stations. 3. The New Year's Eve Gala Dinner was spectacular and the entertainment on the night was excellent but they need a rethink on asking 100's of guests to all access the buffet at exactly the same time leading to huge queues at each food station. 4. Surprised by the tolerance for allowing smoking in the bar areas. Wasn't always pleasant. 5. This last point is entirely personal to us and is no doubt probably caused by booking our trip over the New Year holiday period....but we were surprised at the large numbers of families with small children. This did on occasion mean the buffet dining experience was not exactly the romantic couples experience we were hoping for. Learning point for us - only go to adults only hotels in prime holiday periods. While I have highlighted some of the less good things this is still a nice 5 star hotel in a great location and we enjoyed in particular our time in the Spa and the pool and associated service around the pool was excellent. Great vibes in the Pool bar for drinks and snacks before the sun goes down.

We spent our December vacation at Tivoli La Caleta. The property, staff, service and overall amenities are top notch. From the rooms being clean and well equipped, their on site food offerings are excellent and high quality. Pools and Spa are easy to navigate and the customer service is excellent. Do yourself a favor and give them a chance to provide you with an experience of a lifetime. This was our second visit to this resort and will not ever make the mistake of trying the RIU Arecas next door. We left that property after 4 nights and finished our last 5 days at the Tivoli.

First time staying back here since refurb and rebrand from the Sheraton. Staff are nice and polite, rooms nice and buffet is decent for both breakfast and dinner. Pool nice and great that it’s heated. There are 2 issues - one is that in the evening the hotel is dead - entertainment is poor. The other thing, which for me is a bigger issue, is that the gym is simply poor, significantly under invested and just not up to the standard of a 5 star hotel in this day and age. They could transform this great space with very minimal cost on some decent machines, and i do not understand why they have scrimped on investing here.

Tivoli was better than i expected, really liked the location, food and the staff were very helpful. The room was lovely and spacious with a large bathroom.
