“Delightful hotel and people!”

The best

We stayed at TOC Hotel Las Ramblas for 4 nights at the end of October and beginning of November. This small hotel is a gem! What makes it that? First, the staff. Matio and Julia could not have been more helpful in making sure our visit was everything we hoped for. Their tips on nearby restaurants, things to see and do, accommodating our requests, and helping prepare our delicious breakfasts were very helpful. Yes, our room was small, but clean and quiet for our night's sleep. The location is superb -- a short walk to Plaza Catalunya, and the expanse of La Rambla a block and a half away. Our highest recommendation is always this: "When we're back in Barcelona, we'll go right back to TOC Hotel Las Ramblas"!

“Great location, comfortable, recommended”

Great hotel in a great location, a couple of minutes away walking to Las Ramblas. Room is clean, modern and comfortable, with a private bathroom, toiletries, towels... Bed is comfortable and even the hotel is in a popular area is not noisy. Staff is friendly, speaks good English and they have information in both Spanish and English. We could leave our luggage with them before checking in and after checking out. Recommended.

To be improved

The fact that you need to be buzzed in when entering the hotel can be an inconvenience. We didn't have to wait much to get in after ringing the bell, since the staff appeared right away and buzzed us in.

“The location of the hotel is good, close to everything you need, supermarket, coffee shops, etc. The hotel is clean and looks nice, even tho the room we stayed in it was small it was comfortable. The first guy we meet at the reception was very helpful and nice. · Cons: The fact that you cannot enter the hotel until the receptionist buzzes you in, and there was one night around 11 PM when we came back and stayed half an hour on the street waiting for the receptionist to buzz us in and she wasn't there. And when she came the first thing she asked is "what do you want" which it was not really nice way of talking. No coffe in the room just tea.”
