“Very comfortable house in a beautiful area very close to the national park with a super helpful host”
The best

The location was wonderful, we really loved the area. The outside seating area was comfy and relaxing, we enjoyed sitting out there so much. All the amenities we needed were in the house. The host was super friendly, helpful and responsive. There was a basket full of bananas and other treats waiting for us when we arrived which was so kind. It was so close to the entrance to the Taburiente (the national park), we went up there numerous times, once at 5am to see the stars! It was magical.

To be improved

The shower leaked a little but the water warmed up quickly which was great, we just had to be careful to wipe up the water afterwards. A very minor point!

“Great little house in perfect location for hiking!”
The best

Beautiful small house in the hills of El Paso with easy access to some of the best hiking on La Palma. Beautiful gardens, a great patio, nice kitchen, excellent host, and secure parking for 1 car - this is a great place to stay!

To be improved

This house is probably best for visits during the warm season when you can take full advantage of the property with the gardens & the patio.

“Amazing stay at Isla Bonita.”
The best

Being greeted with home made cake and honey, wine and a two weeks supply of bananas made for a good start into our holidays. The beautiful and fully equipped house, the great location above El Paso and the nice exchange with the owner did the rest to make this a very pleasant stay. We hope to be back in La Palma and Tocando El Cielo.

To be improved

Not a problem for us but beware that the house is located above El Paso a few hundred meters above sea level. As we stayed between Christmas and New Year it was a bit chilly during the nights. But with the provided electrical heater and enough firewood for the stove it was warm enough.

“Amazing Accomodation with fantastic host!”
The best

Very cozy, great Kitchen, amazing terrace with sunset and star view. Beautiful hiking trails, shopping and bus stop can be easily reached by foot. The host was very nice and extremely helpful and offered loads of great hiking, event and restaurant tips + loads of fresh fruit, delicious wine and honey upon arrival

The best

Location was good for hiking. And very calm. The house has been renovated, and everything is works as it should. The owners are extremely helpful, available & friendly.

To be improved

Lack of electrical plugs in the house. And, the heating is insufficient for the size of the house. Only by using the fireplace, you get it warm in the cold winter evenings. Maybe an electric heater might come handy.
