“Outside vs inside”

The best

- both our hosts have welcomed us warmly and were always in reach when we had questions or inquiries. Benjamin gave us valuable tips for the area and we enjoyed selfmade fig jam and fresh (the best!!) lemons from the property :) - when you follow the hosts pictures on how to access the place, you'll find it easily (our GPS "Waze" also guided us well). Be aware of a very steep, tight and stoney path (last maybe 20 meters to the house) - the house and area are located beautifully just between Figueras and Girona, surrounded by alive nature and a fantastic view over fields and the Pyrenees, it's a calm and remote neighborhood but very well connected to the nearby highways, so traveling around is comfortable - the pool is exceptionally clean, big and offers a tremendous view over the fields. The nearby lounge rounded up the relaxing atmosphere. We loved it! - the days can be also enjoyed on the spacious balcony that's surrounding the whole first floor, where the sun rises and sets in the evening

To be improved

- the narrow spaces (no space to put clothes, or sit comfortably if it's too cold/windy outside, the toilet was hidden in an extra corner in the bathroom which was quite tight to go to, as well as the round stairs upstairs to reach the bedroom*) - the wifi was poor (only minimal connection in the bedroom upstairs when close to the window, otherwise it didn't work) - the bedroom is equipped with a ventilator which worked well for the heat that builtd up during the day, but during our stay the days weren't _that_ warm so I can only imagine the sleep quality once summer reaches full peak (due to missing AC) -* only one of the bedrooms showing in the pictures was available to us, the other one belongs to a downstairs apartment which was being rebuild during our stay

“Stress-free and comfortable”

The place is very comfortable and beautiful and the family that lives nearby are super friendly and helpful, they helped us when minor inconveniences happened right away and they recommended nice places to visit. The location is not hard to find, if you follow the landlord’s instruction you will see it in 2 minutes if you follow google maps, you will still reach but you need to drive some 1 km in an unpaved road. The whole experience was comfortable and stressless. The location is close to Girona and you can park your car right at the front door for free. So many nice places to explore nearby like the city of Girona, figures, many beaches and hiking trails. Definitely recommend and will certainly stay again. All the best of luck
