“Old worn down appartment by someone who favours money over hospitality”

The view of the city. You can only see the sea if you poke your head out of the window though. Good shower. Friendly reception.

To be improved

Kitchen utensils was not clean. No decent cookware either: very old pots and pans and dull knives. A whole bunch of 2nd hand furniture instead of decent cupboards. The built in closets were sealed off by the owner: so annoying as if those were just available the Appartment would feel a lot bigger. All the wall boards were hanging loose. The spots in the ceiling all have the whitest hue ever. Nothing warm about it and the opposite of cosy. Toilet kept flushing. Lights in bathroom 50% of the time wouldn’t work. Owner not responsive at all. Upon arrival the clerk didn’t know anything about our arrival, as the owner didn’t prepare this. EVEN THOUGH I checked this a week upfront. And then he wasn’t replying to booking.com messaging system. After 30min I found his number and he wasn’t even friendly, never apologised afterwards. Checkout was at noon; but at 9AM the cleaning lady entered without knocking. She explained to us that the owner had told her the Appartment was empty. Then he send me a message that at 10.30AM I needed to get out because the window repair guy came. I forgot 2 things because of packing up so quickly and didn’t even get to shower anymore. This felt like someone throwing together some stuff and charging way too much. Never again.
