Travelodge Málaga Airport

We just stayed for 1 quick night do a quick change of flights in Malaga. The hotel is really bad. Located in an industrial area which didn’t bother us much. While calling itself an airport hotel it’s a good 15 euro uber ride from the airport and with no shuttle available. When entering the hotel it smelled like sewage, literally. Room was also bad, very small double bed. Wouldnt stay agajn.

Can't fault the hotel, staff and facilities. Arriving late into Malaga or have an early flight - I can recommend stopping here.

This was a clean and comfortable room for a good price, close to the Malaga airport, which is exactly what we needed for an early flight. Giving 5 stars for what it is. The staff at the counter were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Its obviously not the nicest spot behind a gas station and busy highway, but we had no problem with noise. You need to drive around behind the hotel then back partway to the gas station on a one-lane alley (i.e. circle the hotel clockwise) and there is a small entrance to a decent parking lot behind a sort of grass screen. It took 5 minutes to get to the airport.

Hotel was really nice. Room was a decent size, but it was far too hot and climate control only heated or provided a fan, no cooling. We were on the 3rd floor and although the window opened fully, you could not sleep with it open due to the airport and road noise. Such a shame as otherwise the hotel was great.

This hotel is not near the airport ! It was an €18 taxi ride. Staff at reception were so rude on our arrival. The food is horrible, again staff couldn’t care less to help customers. Avoid.

The comfort and space in the room are excellent. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The breakfast is complete and good. The parking is a big plus, as well as the proximity to the airport without being disturbed by aircraft noise. The hotel is clean and well maintained.
