TRH Mijas

Mijas is a very beautiful place to visit. The Hotel is well placed for everything. Rooms are comfortable but a little dated. Breakfast good, plenty to choose from. After reading reviews we had to give evening meal a try. Went once, very disappointing, not a lot of choice, and very bland, considering all the alternative restaurants nearby, maybe time to up there game. Over all a very pleasant stay, staff very good. Return visit? Highly likely.

Having holidayed many times along the costa del sol coast, we always wanted to holiday up in Mijas Pueblo, so we found this hotel through Jet2 holidays, flight and private transfer was perfect, I'd already contacted the hotel a couple of times over pool towels , kettles in rooms, plus location of booked and allocated room!, they were most helpful on both occasions and noted my request for a pool room view with balcony rather than a juliette balcony! As we checked in, it was smooth and quick, also gave us room 32 which was perfect Breakfast was good something for everyone, staff are everywhere helping, clearing plates, cleaning tables etc Pool area was lovely with plenty of beds and snack bar staff very efficient Evening was low key, but was perfect when youve gone to town for dinner , coming back to relax! The room was very clean, cleaning staff friendly and efficient, plus your towels are changed daily overall beautiful rustic traditional hotel with beautiful rooms areas and staff

Fabulous hotel very comfortable and friendly we had a triple room with a excellent 3rd bed Breakfast was amazing x fresh eggs cooked and plenty of choice of other items x with views over fuengirola from restaurant x pool bar excellent food we had mussels and wine all reasonable costs x lovely quiet areas around pool no loud music .. so good we have booked again x 5 mins walk into town so no taxis needed x Mijas town square just adorable bus to fuengirola €1.60 stop outside hotel x day trip to Ronda 28 euro excellent

Amazing views from this hotel, rooms clean and tidy, not much sleep as walls are very thin and the room next door put the TV on at 6.30 in the morning which you could here through the walls, room above us dragged chairs out on balcony every night and talked so loudly that the hotel could here them, doors slamming as soon as the restaurant opened people leaving rooms to go to breakfast. we chose this hotel to enjoy the views and have a nice quite hard earned rest from work, however that didn't happen. Bad points breakfast plenty of choice but the cooked breakfast was awful, small thin sausage u could not chew! Food was not hot just luke warm, ques for coffee as they kept running out of cups also plates. It's a lovely hotel pool area fantastic, staff fantastic very friendly, but sadly I we will not return due to not sleeping well with noise and ti's on early in mornings, plus food let it down.

Perfect location in the mountains. Superb views and really friendly staff. Room very clean and bed comfortable. Plenty of areas to relax inside and enjoy the sun outside. Gym has three cardio machines, bench, weights , slam ball and resistance bands. Basic but fine if you have your own routine. Staff happy to give keys to open it if not being used. Excellent location for hill and mountain hikes. Lots of choice at breakfast and omelettes and fried eggs cooked the way you like as you watch and wait. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and public gardens to visit with stunning views. Regular buses into fuengriola. Lovely holiday. We will be back.

Superb authentic Spanish hotel in a stunning location on the edge of Mijas Pueblo. Spotlessly clean throughout! Check in with Jose was seamless with everything we needed to know explained really well. A real asset to the team and set the theme for an all round excellent holiday! Staff really friendly providing excellent guest service. Not really fair to pick individuals out but the older waitress was really good! Always providing a smile despite a really high workload including the bar both during the day and later in the evening. Another real asset to an exceptional team! We had a Superior room ( Room 214 ) with balcony overlooking the tennis court with Fuengirola and the sea in the distance. Could not fault. Like the public areas, room spotlessly clean. Breakfast, whilst not exceptional, nonetheless was very good. Can't understand a recent reviewer complaining about the absence of English bacon!!! You are visiting Spain, not the UK!!! We opted for half board as upgrade with EasyJet Holidays was very reasonably priced. Salads and desert options were excellent with mains five nights out of our seven very good too. A "show cooking" area always offered a fish and meat option too. Guests on b & b should try at least once, the one meal we had out actually fell short by comparison! Having visited Spain and it's islands some 30 plus times, this was our first trip to the Costa del Sol. TRH Mijas did us very proud and we will certainly look to return.
