The key code was not correct so we waited a long time to get the proper code, when the owner reached our call. also a litle bit cold apartament in february, but we then put heating. The washing maschine 3 days wasnt working, then the ovner got new one.

The washing machine was broken on arrival, and despite efforts to contact the staff member in charge and the office, it didn't get fixed while we were there for 6 days. Communication from staff regarding the issue was very poor, and it was frustrating to have to chase them while on holiday to try to get it resolved. They responded very slowly, didn't provide any updates unless prompted, and told us twice that a technician was coming during the day to look at the washing machine but they never did come. They did offer to reimburse the cost of the laundramat we had to use. Chasing them regarding this did take away from our time in La Laguna. The apartment was lacking additional basic items like oil, spices, extra towels, garbage bags, laundry soap pods, etc. There was no internet access and no phone signal in the back two bedrooms. The main TV also struggled to connect to the internet and didn't have regular TV channels.

It's a small thing for some, but I found the lighting was very bright. There were lights everywhere, but no options to create a mood, just bright white lights, on white walls, which is not cosy or relaxing, more like an operating theatre than a living room. For me, this is important for relaxing, other guests may not care. My fitted sheet did not stay on the mattress and came loose as soon as I lay on it, not a massive deal, but a bit annoying. The apartment was not heated, but the hosts had kindly laid on blankets, which we used all the time. It's not a warm apartment. The recycling was not explained. We had a bin with two compartments, but we didn't know which was for what. So we just took our glass and paper to the big bins outside. But some info would have been appreciated.

It was a bit difficult to get to the door and to the lock box of the keys. You need several passages and it is not always very easy and clear. You need to have a good knowledge of English. However they were very helpful and solved all problems quicly.
