The villa was absolutely amazing, my friends and i had the best time here! It was beautiful and had everything we could want. The pool was absolutely amazing and the tennis court was great. It was just brilliant to have such great facilities for just our group to enjoy. It was such a lovely atmosphere and the host was so helpful, answering all the questions we had. 10/10 would definitely come back.

To be improved

It was quite tricky to get to as the roads leading up to the property werent great, however the host was kind to give us a meeting point and guide us to the property on arrival so we knew where we were going, it was very helpful.

Hot water ran out due to boiler gas being empty. We did not realised the cause of the issue for 3 days. This was not explained at check-in. Instructions to change gas cylinder were in German ( we are English and do not speak German). Gas BBQ cylinder empty on arrival. We were not able to have a BBQ for first 3 days as delay in this being replaced by host.

“A wonderful place for a family holiday”

We weren’t sure what to expect because there haven’t been many detailed reviews. But we were delighted with our week here. The house was bright, spacious and clean, with a comfortable lived-in feel. Well equipped kitchen as well as outdoor BBQs. The house itself is surrounded by a wide terrace with lovely views and plenty of space for sitting in sunshine or shade and for eating outside. The gardens are fabulous, with winding paths down steps through luscious planting to different levels and the pool. Lots of activities too for our three-generation family group - the pool, table tennis, tennis court, boules, etc. A 5-10 minute drive to Playa San Juan for supplies, restaurants, and a nice little beach. Thanks to Leonor and Jean-Claude for looking after us.

We were massively disappointed to find on arrival that there had been a problem with the pool, which was empty as a result. With a 7-yr-old looking forward to the pool as a holiday highlight that was a bit of a let-down. It took almost 3 days for the pool to fill and heat up, but after that it was great. Anyone with mobility problems would find the number of steps tricky - although you could have a lovely holiday here just using the house and terrace. The house is down a track between banana plantations and was hard to find initially, despite instructions. But very close to the TF1 road in fact. In the summer it would benefit from air conditioning in the bedrooms, as other reviews have mentioned.
