Proaza is perfectly located if you want to hike or bike the Senda del Oso, a previous train embankment where the rails were taken away. The casita is in the second row of houses, but there is very few traffic in the village at night anyhow. When we stayed, it was absolutely quiet. The casita was fully equipped, clean and with comfortable beds. It has two bathrooms with showers, all working very well. The whole house seems to have been recently renovated and looks new. Heating is floor heating, which is efficient and heats up fast. If you are looking for a digital detox, you find it here: no TV, no WLAN - on purpose. Check-in was easy, as Celia, who is a great host, met us at the house at the agreed time. She is a lively and friendly person who gave us lots of recommendations what to do, where to go and where to dine. Proaza has various bars and restaurants, a supermarket and even a butcher. So you have all options.
