The apartment was as shown in the pictures—modern, spacious, and in a good location, which made it convenient for getting around. Check-in was easy, and overall, it served its purpose for our stay.

To be improved

There were some downsides. While advertised as a fully equipped kitchen, it was missing many essentials such as kitchen paper, a cutting board, dishwasher detergent, coffee, salt, and pepper. It would also benefit from having more bowls and cups. The apartment itself was quite dark, with no natural light or view, which gave it a slightly claustrophobic feel. It was also cold during the winter, even with the heating. The host also added some pressure on guests with warnings about extra costs, such as a €12 fee for not washing dishes and charges for “poor condition” towels (€4 for small towels, €6 for big ones).

Property manager knew the clothes washer did not work. This was important because we had planned it as one of our critical "wash" stops and therefore had no clean clothing left. It took us 5 hours of waiting and calling to get a conversation with the supervisor, who was excellent, and offered laundry service for us. Drop off and pick up was not completely reliable, resulting in losing time exploring the city. Others may not need the washing machine, so it would not be a big deal, but since the property knew about it and they manage many others, they could have let us know by booking.com before we checked in, so it would not have been a hassle. I ended up having to buy stuff to wear until we could get it worked out.
