tuGuest Corazón de Granada Apartment

I had high hopes for my stay at TuGuest Corazón de Granada Apartment, but it turned out to be a bad experience. First, the WiFi, which was promised as part of the amenities, didn’t work at all. On top of that, the apartment had a cockroach problem. I found several in the unit, which made it feel dirty and uncomfortable. For the price, I expected much better hygiene and maintenance. The hosts were also not very helpful. We had to repeatedly text and call just to get instructions for accessing the apartment via the lockbox. To make matters worse, they only provided the code 20 minutes before check-in, which was already quite late at 16:00. This lack of communication and delay added unnecessary stress to our arrival. Overall, the poor service, cleanliness issues, and broken promises made for a disappointing stay. I would not recommend this apartment unless they address these problems.

Dirty floors (had to wash my feet every time o went barefoot). I was able to do laundry (yay), but there were no clothes pins to hang them outside. Front door key doesn’t really work and no one in the building seems to use the deadbolt locks because they keys don’t work well then.

Dog poop on the street. Street can sometimes be noisy in the morning due to travellers dragging their suitcases across the street (which would include us too TBF!).

Very cold… we understand that the marble floors are important for the summer, but it was freezing to step on them in April:) The radiator leak in the corridor was never fixed (although it did not interfere with our stay:)

Finding a parking is the most challenging task in the area. The nearest one is 5min walk, but expensive (14 euros for a night) and not good for big cars.
