“Fabulous location with everything you need”

The property is in a fantastic, convenient location near the cathedral. As it is so central there are bars immediately nearby which you can hear on a Saturday night - not a problem for us as we expected this but it’s not a property for those looking for quiet stay. We stayed Saturday - Tuesday and it was only Saturday that was noisy. There was nothing missing that we needed, the property is well equipped, has a strong shower and a gorgeous terrace that catches the morning sun. The host communication and access was great too - easy and quick to respond.

To be improved

Of the two beds, I found the one upstairs to be lumpy and uncomfortable and as it’s on a light metal frame, every time I turned over it moved - it felt more like a travel cot than a proper bed so that was my only disappointment. That said, my friend said her bed downstairs was good. The only other suggestion would be for the cleaners to check that previous guests have actually washed their kitchenware before leaving, as we found we needed to clean some items before using. It must be said that despite these minor niggles, I would definitely stay here again.

To be improved

It was the worst stay on my trip. The house wasn’t clean. Floor was very dirty. The shutter to the balcony didn’t open so we couldn’t use it. There was a construction noise from adjacent building all the time which was very annoying. The outside building looks very dirty. The stairs are very narrow and dangerous to carry a large suitcase. The host was very slow to respond to our concerns. Have very strange and strict policies to check in and check out but no desire to stick to their own promises.
