Verified reviews from real guests who have already stayed here.
Multiple positive comments about the location being near the city center and amenities.
Although issues exist, the location and availability of beds seem to justify the cost.
Lack of breakfast options and kitchen facilities; guests need to bring their own food.
Lack of staff mentioned in multiple reviews, affecting service perception.
Average experience, with both pros and cons affecting the overall impression.
Noted lack of basic amenities such as real bedding and proper bathrooms.
“Not worth the money”
Owner seemed nice but for the price it isn’t worth it.
There aren’t even real sheets just disposable paper fitted sheets and pillow case. The area becomes extremely stuffy at night and only one bathroom.
“One night on Camino - basic”
Great location in town, spacious roooms compared to others, fitting for one night on the Camino.
No staff on property (self check in), thin higiene liner for bed no proper sheets (which is fine, just expected differently at the price paid), not a full kitchen for cooking
“Its a lovely little hostel. The owner is well travelled. In a lovely old building right in the center.”

“Excellent hostel in historic part of Pontevedra.”
The location was perfect, right in the middle of the historic district surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Sonia, the owner and host, is very sweet and knowledgeable. She is also a tour guide and knows the best spots to eat, all the historic sites. I stayed two nights. This is a busy area and at first seems like it would be noisy but the sleeping are is not noisy. I love Turoqua Hostel.
It was all good.
“Great location and easily accessible. The curtains on the beds were a bonus and made sleeping easy and minimal disruptions. Works great for a night. · Cons: There was a strong smell of detergent /cleaning when we came in, we had to have the windows open for a few hours and it eventually left. The linen was also single use disposable linen which easily ripped and not very friendly on environment.”

“Location was very good, Sonia was very communicative and helpful · Cons: Maybe have some fan as the air is a bit stuffy but it's just a suggestion:)”
