“Very poor”

The location was close to the museum, beach, and castle. It had a TV and a decent sized kitchen which was nice for use during the evenings.

To be improved

For ALL THREE DAYS there was no working shower. I had reported this on three separate occasions and was told that it would be promptly seen to. It was not. The outdoor shower was unusable as it was seething hot. Two of the beds were too short and very firm. Really disappointed.

“Okay room for an acceptable price”

Location is good (~20mn walk from downtown), there are a few restaurants and cafes around to eat and have breakfast. The room was quiet, I don't remember being annoyed by noise except a couple of times where guests would let the entrance door to the building slam. Not the hosts' fault really. I was also able to find free street parking around after a few rounds around the block.

To be improved

The bathroom wasn't really clean, I saw a few hairs lying around when we arrived. The room we had was on the ground floor and thus if you opened the window, you'd have people outside looking straight inside. It didn't really bother us but you'd have to abandon some privacy to air the room. On the other hand, the room was naturally cool as the Sun didn't really get inside.

“Good value for money”

The apartment was spacious enough for 5 people and located just a 15 minute walk from the city center.

To be improved

When we arrived, the apartment mentioned in the instructions was already occupied. Fortunately, the host was responsive and quickly provided us with an alternative. One issue we noticed: the shower water tends to get cold.

Toilet wasn’t clean, there was no hand soap. Beds were not very comfortable. Bed linens and duvets were old.
