“Basic hotel .”

The location is ok. Top end of Las Canteras promenade / near Calle La Naval .Few minutes walk to beach front . Plenty of bars , cafés ,restaurants close by . The rooms are " aceptable ". Bed linen ok , comfy bed , clean White towels .

To be improved

Some parts of the room were a little shabby. Loose light fitment hanging off the wall. Toilet Seat flimsy .The main door to enter reception off the street , had a broken handle ( maintenance / attention to detail , needed in places ). Patched Up plaster around the entrance . Dusty walls . The gentleman on reception was a bit surly upon arrival. No roof terrace bar ,as clearly displayed on the photos for the hotel .In need of a bit more TLC in general to the hotel .

It’s very close to stores and supermarkets and restaurants/cafes, easy to ride the bus, it’s very close to the bus stops. Beach is a few steps away.

“The position Is excellent, and the hotel was clean, which excuse the price compared to the conditions. · Cons: The staff was not present at the reception most of the time and communication is limited to WhatsApp. One evening the entrance doors broke down (not recognizing both the magnetic card nor the code), I was stuck outside for almost two hours without the possibility to reach for assistance: messages on WhatsApp were not being delivered and the phone number was not available. Another client soon tried to enter as well, and we were both together for most of the time. We only managed to get inside thanks to a guest who opened the door from inside. We received very quick excuses and only the next day (the messages were still not delivered on WhatsApp until the morning). Also, I have booked a room with a view to the internal garden, but I was assigned a room to the street. Normally I wouldn't have minded but the street was extremely loud, especially in the very early mornings, I would really not recommend it. I have asked to have my room changed to the one I have booked but the reply was very slow and I was asked to come back to pack my things in the middle of the day. The change of the room was only possible in very specific moments, which were not convenient for me, so I decided not to anymore since I was preferring enjoy the day trips I planned instead.”
