“Strees free week”

The best

Four of us have just returned from a stress free week. From arrival to exit nothing but friendly service, food was good, nothjng too special you get what you pay for. room was clean smelt abit at first arrival but covered the drain when shower wasn't in use. Paid for a safe (a must i think) If I had taken to heart the reviews I read on here I wouldn't have gone. Different strokes for different folks.

“Unclear rules and unprofessional handling”

From the moment we arrived, we were spoken to in a condescending manner, as if we were incapable of understanding basic information. Communication from security felt dismissive and repetitive rather than helpful, and the interaction lasted far longer than necessary before we were able to leave. Be aware that the rules provided in English do not fully match the rules communicated in Spanish, which may put non-Spanish-speaking guests at risk of unintentionally breaking rules they were never informed of. Whatever personal circumstances security staff may have, they should not be projected onto guests. Interactions should remain professional, proportionate, and focused on resolving the situation. Housekeeping staff, however, were kind, professional, and consistently pleasant.

“Never again”

Don't often write reviews but felt I needed to after stay here. I've been coming to PR for 25 years and stayed in many places and never has it been as bad as this. I emailed before arriving asking for a room with either views, sun on balcony or a top floor and ended up behind the restaurant with none of the above and was told they were full. On entering the apartment the stench that hit you was disgusting. The drains were appalling. We complained to reception who said would send someone out. So next time we entered apartment we were overpowered by industrial bleach that stung your eyes and choked you. So instead we ended up buying our own bleach, candles, reed diffusers to try and help. We were not the only ones complaining of this sadly and the apartments were in no way full but no offer of moving us. Will never book for here again, too many other fabulous places to go to.

“Bad experience”

The best

I checked out of this hotel on the 18th of November and was assured my 100 pound deposit would be returned to my bank account by the time I got to the airport it's now been 10 days no deposit and now getting ignored by the hotel I would recommend no one uses this hotel

“Hit and Miss”

We were very apprehensive about staying here after the recent reviews, so I'll start with the negative points (in our opinion!) first: 1) We booked two rooms on the same booking and had emailed beforehand to have them next door to each other. They weren't. They were about 3 doors away from each other, not the end of the world but a bit annoying 2) The deposit, the bloody deposit. As we had two rooms, we had to pay 100EUR for each room. It took a week for it to come back to our bank, so please be mindful of that when you book 3) The Wifi is in the reception only Now, what we enjoyed about the hotel: 1) First, the location. Unreal sunsets from the from of the hotel, a few mins to the Europa centre and a 25/30 min walk to the beautiful Amadores beach. Fiver in a taxi back 2) The food - we loved the food, absolutely no complaints. We had a picky child with us and she managed to eat every day 3) The staff - all very nice and happy, especially the lass with the short hair in the restaurant - really lovely. No issues with any of them 4) The other holidaymakers - all lovely people! We met some lovely people around the pools from all over Europe who were friendly with our noisy kids 5) The rooms were big and spacious - especially the top floors ones Overall if you're after a small, budget holiday, this hotel is ideal. The pools are small and there is only entertainment a few nights a week, but every where is closed by 10.30pm. Would we come back to this particular hotel? Probably not as we need something more child-centred, but overall a basic no frills hotel.
