Staff! They make you walk across the whole town to pick up keys, instead of delivering them to the door, or leaving them in a lock-box near the door, as most are doing that. The checkin time is at 4pm, checkout time is at 10am - which is just designed to be abused in case you are just slightly late, as they will charge your for an additional day without any consent on your part. The tone of communication - is demanding! Demands - unreasonable. You are treated not as a welcome guest, but instead as if you are the one who should be grateful because they are doing such a favor by having you. Other than that - place itself is great.

“Secure and homely house in great location with quiet communal swimming pool and gardens”
The best

We really enjoyed staying at the property which was very homely and well located with lovely views, and within easy walking distance of the beach, the town and the bus station. La Hacienda is gated so felt secure as did the property. It was very nice to have access to the communal gardens and pool which were quiet when we were there. The downstairs wc/shower has been very nicely newly refitted and kitchen is great with all the kitchen equipment you could need (except for a can opener), and the provision of a shopping trolley in the property was handy, especially when buying water. We personally didn’t find ‘cardiac hill’ which leads up from the beach to the property a problem.

To be improved

It would have been helpful to have a welcome pack of information, including the location of the bins (which we were unable to find so used some further up the street).
