“Perfect break”

The best

Good location. Loads of nice little touches within the room that were unexpected. Lovely bathroom and kitchen area.

To be improved

The kitchen was very dark and it was hard to see what I was doing but this was very minor.

“Comfortable room in central location, with limited temperature controls.”

The best

Comfortable, spacious room. Great location - easy to walk to key places in the centre of town. Nice shower with good water pressure.

To be improved

The temperature controls were limited. No aircon, and the windows round the balcony had signs on them saying not to open. There was a single table fan, which was just about enough when I was there. But in a heatwave, I'm not sure that would cut it.

The furnishings look solid in the photos, but in reality they are light and more decorative than functional. The “Paris” apartment is also very noisy due to street traffic, and even with the windows closed, it didn’t help much.”

“Great location, good base to explore city of Santander”

The best

Great location for city near local main market and approx 10 mins walk from bus station. Local bars nearby but main city short walk so plenty of choice for eating. Supermarket 100yrds away. Beach a little further out but lovely park, cathedral and waterside short walk. Spacious room with sofa and a lovely enclosed balcony (not sure all rooms have) with table, small kitchen area with microwave, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Would definitely recommend as simple base, very clean and airy.

To be improved

Only downside (esp if there when really hot) is no air con, fan available and some windows can be opened.
