- The owner contacted me to say his assistant had left a ladder behind. I told him to pass on my phone number so it could be picked up. Instead someone entered the property without our permission to retrieve the ladder. - The apartment was not clean. Under the sofa bed was a large plastic water bottle, used tissues, and a lot of dust. The apartment was grubby. - The duvet found in the wardrobe for the kids to use was stained, smelly, and no clean cover was provided. - The double bed was incredibly uncomfortable. - The apartment stank of cigarettes. We needed to wash all our clothes to get rid of the smell. - Just before checking out, the doorbell rang. The next family had arranged an early check-in even though our checkout was at 11 am. The poor family had travelled from Canada! No idea if the owner managed to send cleaners around straight away or at least to bring fresh sheets/towels. I don't very rarely write negative reviews, but this place is really not suitable for families and leaves you feeling grubby after staying there.
