It was a basement apartment which meant you heard all the passing traffic at all hours. The flat above was very noisy in the early hours of the morning. We couldn’t sleep with all the noise

Very noise during sleep hours. No external windows. I booked it on booking.com but it did not say it was a basement apartment with no windows on the advert. I would not have booked it if I knew it was a basement apartment. Neither booking.com or the property owners took responsibility for the I'll informed advert.

“Op wandelafstand van de metro”

Within walking distance of the metro. Lighting buttons do not all work, the same with the sockets. Heating elements struck in safety after a few minutes. Fortunately, there was another small element. TV didn't work. In a fitted kitchen I expect a little more next to the cooking utensils than a barrel of salt and coffee capsules... No pepper, no sugar, nothing (not promised but still...) Shower was just like the entire apartment outdated and no longer looks completely like the pictures on the website. Everything needs a thorough renovation. The upstairs neighbors lived between 6.00 and 7.00 and from 16.00 with marginal sounds, banging and endless moving of furniture. Police stood at the front door for an hour with flashing lights. Probably for the sauna next to it that is open 24/7. Advice: let it close because there is no everyday audience going there. Host was responsive, but he should know the downsides.
