The best

Very large and comfortable room with a balcony view of the ocean. The host was very nice and breakfast was excellent. Easy walk to town - hilly but fine if you are used to walking places. About a 3 mile nice walk along the coast to the next town.

I wish there would have been some fans for the top room. All of the heat rose to the top level and it was very warm in the room.

“A fabulous place to stay!”
The best

We loved our stay at Usotegi. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The location, in vineyards, was exceptional and the property itself was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed using the common area balcony & drinking local wine in the sun.

To be improved

We didn't like the fact that we couldn't stay longer - three nights was not enough.

The best

This was a great location, and the people that run it were very nice and helpful. From here, it was easy to walk downtown and take a beautiful hike out onto the peninsula. There were escalators to take you back up the hill. We very much enjoyed our short visit to this town and would stay here again.

“Wonderful stay in Getaria”
The best

Amazing apartment in a beautifully renovated old house with gorgeous views. We were staying in a huge apartment on the top floor. It had 2 rooms with 2 very wide beds and 2 bathrooms, all spacious, and with cathedral ceilings it appeared enormous. Large balcony from which you can see the vineyards and all the way down to the sea. Breakfast (for only 8.5 euros per person) was great, served very elegantly. Location is very convenient, 15 minute walk down into old town, but on the way back up you can take a series of escalators (that start moving every time someone steps on them) and a lift, that brings you at the level of the small streets that lead to the house. And most importantly, the owner is such a welcoming young lady, you feel like she's your close friend. Our expectations were exceeded.
