Valencia Apartments by Olala Homes

Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed with Olala Homes. I arrived during the power cut so was unable to get into the electronic box to access the keys to the apartment, so had to sort alternative accommodation for my first night. Once power was back on, no effort was made to contact me to ensure I was safely in the property. When I returned to the property myself the next day, the apartment was extremely unclean. There was hair everywhere from previous guests, dust and dirt on the floor, brown stains all over the sofa and a dirty toilet. Also, the sofa bed had not been made up like I had specifically asked for it to be, and the blind in the upstairs bedroom was completely broken. I was travelling with my heavily pregnant sister and this was not a comfortable environment for her. I contacted Olala Homes immediately and they denied me a full refund. I then asked for my complaint to be escalated to the appropriate team, and they simply have not replied to me. I am a Junior Doctor and I do not have a lot of money. I had to pay extra for somewhere alternative to stay during my trip to Valencia, and I am really struggling now they have stopped replying to me about getting a full refund. I am really disappointed. UPDATE - 16th July 2025, I have still not had any clear communication from Olala regards my stay and request for a full refund. They have sent me one poorly written email offering 100 euros only if I take down my review. I am still extremely disappointed with this level of unprofessionalism.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed relating to my booking with Olala Homes. I had a previous booking with them for 28th-30th April, but the apartment was unfit for us to stay in due to it being unclean and the second bed not being made up as I had requested it to be. I contacted Olala Homes on 29th May informing them I would not be staying in their property and requested a full refund. They initially denied this request, then said it would be escalated to the managers, now they have stopped replying. I contacted them for a full refund within the appropriate window and have not received any communication regarding a refund for my booking 1st May- 3rd May. UPDATE - 16th July 2025, I have still not had any clear communication from Olala regards my stay and request for a full refund. Not as big as it looks in the pictures. They've taken very clever pictures. Still extremely nice.

1. The listing showed it had a sofa bed, there was no sofa bed. I messaged the company about this several times never heard anything back about this. But on the day I was supposed to check out i definitely got a friendly reminder what time check out time was 😂. I was like oh you can message me that but not about the missing sofa bed lol. 2. The freezer had a weird fishy smell. I went to put in my drinks to get cold and instantly regretted that, I think someone spilled something in there. That’s an easy fix
