“A fantastic apartment!”

The best

Comfortable and well organised. It had everything we needed! Strongly recommended, especially if you wish to visit the Aquarium and Science Museum.

To be improved

These are mostly recommendations for the future: - Better soundproofing, especially for the main door (you can hear clearly whoever stops outside your apartment for a chat). - Add covers to the keypads. Valencia is incredibly safe, but entering the code to enter the apartment without any cover feels a bit sketchy. Anyone across the street or from a balcony could easily spot the code. Again, we felt super safe at all times, but it would be the perfect addition. We will happily comeback!

The location was good and within walking distance from the metro train/bus or uber type taxi's Various shopping facilities in the area for groceries and everyday food stuff.

To be improved

The bathroom was on the ground floor and the sleeping area at the top - the stairs from the sleeping area to the bathroom were bit of a nuisance at night time

“Not such a great value in the end”

Kitchen and washing machine included was nice for long stays, only a few blocks away from the metro and/or bus, quick response from host, hot water with good pressure, safe location

To be improved

Sticky floors and handrails for the stairs, AC shuts off if set lower than 26, not close to anything walkable unless you want to take a bus or metro, pillows flat but bed is comfortable if you like it firm, old towels and no washcloth provided, no iron or steamer for clothes. All of this could be overlooked if paying less than hotel pricing but a few hours after leaving, we realized we had forgotten our diabetes medication in the refrigerator. No hotel would have ever been so careless as to toss out what is obviously medication. When I contacted the host, they said things are always thrown out. When I asked them to follow up to be sure because I’d come back for it, the response was “I answered your question already”. When getting VA healthcare in the states, you can only get prescriptions from them and so we’d have to rush to visit a doctor here in Spain to get new medicine prescribed. It was all a scary and expensive mess that we obviously created for ourselves by leaving the medicine behind. However; it’s also an important lesson to learn how hosts will handle these types of customer service situations.
