“A wonderful place to sit back and relax in a beautiful country home that is close to activities.”

The best

The Rooms are in a renovated farmhouse that is beautifully restored with bright colors and attractive style. The kitchen is nice with sufficient utensils to cook meals. The room is comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable, and the shutters allowed for a very dark sleeping environment. The views from the windows and balconies are pastoral. We enjoyed watching the river, the locals gardening, sheep grazing, and the views of the mountains. It is very quiet and very relaxing. There are nice walks you can take from the hotel. We fell in love with Carenas. It is a good base point to visit the surrounding areas, or like us, to relax after days of sightseeing and travel.

To be improved

I don't think there is anything I did not like. We brought our groceries with us, so shopping was not an issue. The plan was for a relaxing 2 days, and we definitely met our goal. I wish we could have stayed longer.
