The best

This is an exceptional Property, great location, Hosts met us on arrival, every question answered and a tour of the property. Did not use the communal pool but it was a very short walk out the back gate, the private front garden was lovely with plenty of seating. Faro2 shopping centre was 5 mins away, great couple of restaurants and the hyperdino supermarket.

The outdoor area it’s big and with a lot of privacy. The rooms are big and dark enough to sleep long. It has their own entrance from the street, don’t have to enter in the complex

The best

We had a nice welcome from the hosts Berta and her mother who showed us around the villa on arrival. Berta was easy to contact on WhatsApp with any issues. The villa has a very nice garden area with sunbeds and comfortable seating and false grass. There is a Patio with a seating area and table with extra fridge to store your drinks. The villa is very private and was fairly quiet while we were there. A little noise at night from the Amusement Park but nothing that bad. The Kitchen is fairly well equipped but lacking a grater and pizza cutter and probably a decent chef’s knife. There was a very good collection of spices in the rack together with teabags, sugar and salt. We tended to use the filter coffee maker for which we had to provide our own ground coffee. The Microwave and oven were both good. A good selection of glasses were available albeit hard to find at first as they are in a sliding cupboard above the TV. Plastic glasses were good to use outside without the risk of breakage. There is a compact dishwasher and washing machine, tablets and washing pods were provided for them both although we did run out of dishwasher tablets. The supply of liquid soap and Toilet rolls were welcome. The TV does not have any English channels only Sky news but I brought my own Fire stick which worked fine. The free Wi-Fi gave a good signal It’s a 5 minute walk to the Faro shopping centre which has been almost deserted for a number of years. But it still has a bar and two decent restaurants and a Hiperdino supermarket and also a bike hire shop.

This villa describes itself as a large renovated bungalow with capacity for 6 people. I think this is a little over exaggerated to some extent as to have 6 adults in this villa together would be a challenge. It is also described as detached but it is semidetached and you can hear noises from next door especially the bedroom and bathroom. There is a lounge a small kitchen and 3 bedrooms with a functional bathroom. There is an extra WC at the back of the utility room off the kitchen. Despite the Villa being described as having Air Conditioning it is only available in the lounge. I only found this out on arrival as the villa was sweltering hot with no way to cool the bedrooms down. At night time there was a bedroom window about 6 sq. ft. that could be opened which had a fly screen. The windows in the bedroom are small and look out on a back passage way so not much of a view or much help in cooling the bedrooms. There is only one door in the villa so no chance of opening another to get a draft during the day. There were no fans provided and only after complaining about the heat was a floor tower fan provided the next day which was just about OK. Had I known about the aircon layout I would not have booked this villa as while you may enjoy the day outside you need to be able to sleep comfortably at night. Despite raising this with the Hosts and Booking.Com it is still described as an Air conditioned Villa and does not highlight the fact it is only in the lounge. There were no towels provided for the sunbeds but were told to use spare towels from other bedrooms
