There was a noisy and dusty construction site directly opposite with noise, shouting, music etc. from 7.30 a.m. to 7 p.m. During daytime I couldn´t use the balcony because of this situation. Wifi: worked in kitchen and living room, but not in bedrooms There was quite a lot of decoration and other stuff in the apartment. I cleaned the washing machine myself before using it. The bed was shorter than me, mattress cover is plastic. On day 3 the drain in the shower was clogged, cleaned on day 4 - and clogged again on day 5. The sink plug in the kitchen was not working, which meant I had to use running water to do the washing-up. That´s not very ecological taking into account the drought in the region. I contacted the owner and told them that there were a couple of problems regarding the apartment. Answers were Spanish only. I wasn´t asked which problems actually existed. Though asking repeatedly, I have not been issued an invoice.

Communication about check-in was not good. Flat was large but very cluttered and old-fashioned; Wi-Fi not functioning; a gas cylinder in the living room; plastic-backed mattress protectors; no duvets; polyester sheets but beds not made-up; no corkscrew or wineglasses. The communal hall smelt very badly of gas and sewage. Apartment located opposite 2 building sites. We set our alarms for 7am the next morning to leave asap.
