The best

A lot. This is really a superior stay! Newly remodeled farmhouse with modern amenities but preservation of the old wood features in the ceiling and stairs. Large comfortable room, large shower with good hot water, good towels, good linens, beer and chips in the little fridge by our room when we arrived. Hosts were happy to visit with us which is always a plus. It was a bit of luxury on the Camino ride. Elisa fixed dinner for us because we were on bikes and that was appreciated. They gave recommendations for dining in Pamplona which we used and appreciated. Many small touches: fresh flowers, special Basque dishes for breakfast, a fire in the main room on a chilly night. They are hosts who want their guests to have a memorable experience and it shows.

To be improved

Only drawback: it’s not near anything so dining is difficult. Elisa suggests people that stay multiple nights eat their main meal mid day when they are out and about and she is fine with people bringing back a simple meal to eat at the large and pleasant dining room. Also, no tv.

“A hidden gem”
The best

Charming property, renovated to a high level in stunning surroundings. Lots of natural beauty in the local area and a great place to retreat to after a day out. Elisa is the perfect host and we appreciated her attention to detail and superb care. We hope to be back.
