The area is a bit out of the way, no bus routes so had to get taxis, which depending on where you were going would be quite expensive or long waits at times. I would advise people to hire a car if they want to explore as it would be a lot easier.

UPDATE 23/2: Host decided to try to charge me for damages my "large dog" made (I don't have a large dog, it died 2 years ago) and said I had more people than stated in the apartment. Another lie as it is just my husband and my child house hunting. I don't even know anyone, so not sure where i should get the extra people from. Bottom line, she lied and tried to charge me 244 euro. A host to be avoided and an apartment from hell. Original review: Our booked apartment had an issue with the sewage, so the apartment stank too much to stay. The nice host offered us another apartment in another building. As we had meetings and work, we said yes, but this apartment was horrible. Floor tiles were loose, shower floor was broken, airco broken, it was not cleaned, no garbage bins and I even doubt the beds were clean as they smelled like sweat. To be fair, we were offered to cancel the booking, but as we were packed with meetings and work, we just did not have the time to move.
