The AC was a hit or miss. You have to switch it on with a switch on the wall then use remote. Despite using a timer mode, the AC kept turning off in the main bedroom and we kept waking in the middle of the night sweating!! Also the apartment is lovely but we found one particular resident on the lower floor who just made it his mission to patrol the pool area as he had nothing better to do with himself. Our kids are very respectful and I take pride in that. The 2 girls 6 and 9 were watched as they played in the pool and were told no floats of any kind were allowed at the pool. We were also watched to make sure we dried ourselves before walking inside as if we didn't understand the pool rules? Grown adults, we really didn't need the lecture as we could clearly read. The girls weren't loud or excessively splashing but even if they wanted to jump in the pool , I felt I needed to make sure they weren't, just to avoid conflict from this resident. Kids not being allowed kids? Never had this issue coming to Nerja before.... don't advertise these properties for families with kids if you're going to have pool patrol. I wouldn't mind but the man wasn't even spanish and just had nothing else to do in his retired years. Unfortunate.

The flat is slightly used up. Not much space for our stuff, some cabinets and shelves were locked or full the owners' things.
