The only positive aspect of this place is its location – close to the city and the beach. Unfortunately, everything else is quite disappointing.

To be improved

Instead of the promised private villa, we received a top floor in a house with residents on the ground floor. The pool is located in the backyard with no direct access from the apartment on this side of the building, meaning you have to walk around the house each time to reach it. This is particularly inconvenient, especially when you have to go back for something. Next to the pool stands a run-down trailer- not only it is unpleasant to look at but also unaccessable and unuseful as it is locked, so you cannot treat it as a pool bar as suggested in the photos. The second-to-last step leading to the apartment is missing a part of a tile– I stumbled and fell several times before realizing what the cause was. In the bathroom, there was a very unpleasant odor, particularly strong at night. The door scraped against the frame, creating a loud noise upon opening – loud enough to wake up other guests. The description of the property and the photos in the listing are very misleading. I have never encountered such a discrepancy between the presentation and the actual state. If I had known what it really looked like, I would never have booked this place. I would have booked an actual private villa instead.

The best

A nice location only 15 mins from town, excellent value for money and spacious for the 5 of us. The pool was a welcome addition for both adults and kids. The outside caravan gave the garden character.

To be improved

There was only one bathroom and there could have been additional pillows. It didn’t really affect us as the kids are older but you couldn’t see the pool from the villa so if you had younger children you would have to go to the pool with them.
