“Good apartment, A* location, poor communication”

The best

Location - spot on! 30 seconds from the beach, bars and restaurants. And 1 minute from a well stocked supermarket. Apartment itself was generally great, large kitchen, large bathroom (bath itself has damage to the surface by plug that could do with being repaired but is functional), extra smaller bathroom, 3 large bedrooms (1 double, 2 twin), lounge, TV (no English channels but as expected), sofa, dining table and chairs, good working air con, 1 x standing fan, balcony and dryer to hang washing out, parasol and beach chairs to borrow and use on the beach Can’t comment on parking as we did not use.

To be improved

Sometimes there was a smell of drains/sewage in the apartment, it came and went but was present every day. Poor communication: -Sometimes messages in English, sometimes in Spanish. -Called me by a name that was not mine and not even close. -We were messaged and asked several times to wait in for someone to fix or look at something and we’d go back with a time as requested and then just get no response. -For check out we had a message through here saying thank you, any feedback welcome, leave keys on table in apartment etc and then 30 seconds later a WhatsApp from Carlos saying we needed to meet someone for check out. I assumed they would check the apartment but they just showed up and took the keys and left. 20 mins later I get another WhatsApp from Carlos asking when they can clean. Just better and clearer communication. -Finding the apartment was difficult because the full address is not made clear. -And getting into the apartment was again confusing. Basically it is a smart key via an app and you need to download the app. They need to make it clear that this needs to be downloaded prior to showing up at the apartment otherwise you have to download an app on your mobile data. “Nice apartment but with a disgusting smell”

The best

The apartment is nice and with a splendid location and a small but nice balcony but the smell in the apartment was disgusting. The smell was still there even if you had the windows open which you had to otherwise you couldn't stand it.

“Superb”

The best

Great apartment with all facilities close by. It has clearly been well planned as it was well equipped for adults and children. Very light and spacious for 3 adults and 2 children. Also has the added bonus of an underground car park and reserved parking space very close by. Would thoroughly recommend and would use it again.

To be improved

Automatic locking system takes a bit of getting used to and you have to download an app for it.
