“The location and the spacious room for a couple with no child. We had a small balcony with views to the mountains · Cons: Quite a lot of noise because of the amount of kids (but it's great if you have kids on your own). A lot of flies at the breakfast buffet, we know we are in the nature but this amount of flies was too much”

No kitchen in the villas. Still fireworks close to the grounds. Very little options for food. They only have pork. It should be stated on the website that they do not accommodate Muslims

“Very child friendly. The food was excellent. The hotel staff was very kind and lovely. Stunning views. The price is worth the return · Cons: The only problem we had was that they didn't speak English! It was very difficult some of the times to communicate with the staff.”

“Beautiful surroundings, amazing breakfast. We stayed here for a daytime wedding at a nearby monastery to avoid having to drive back after a day (night) of partying. The Vilar is obviously meant for families, so the amount of kids at the morning buffet was quite impressive and maybe not everyone's cup of tea.The beds were comfortable though and perfect for our needs.”
