“Fabulous villa”

The best

The size of the villa was perfect for our needs. The six ensuite bedrooms for 12 people were great. There was enough room for everyone to have their own space & plenty of room outside by the pool & on the terrace, with plenty of outdoor furniture. The kitchen had all we needed & the Nespresso machine was well-used by the coffee drinkers. The pool is a good size & was also well-used. We had four hire cars & parked two down the driveway & two on the street where there is ample parking. If you have a low car you will struggle to get down the driveway. The villa is up the hill in a residential area so you will need a car if you choose to stay here. It is very private with the owner also owning the house next door. If he is there, his dogs may come to say hello. I would recommend this villa to a large group of friends or family & would stay there again if we chose to holiday in the same area. The area itself is great & the closest town has all you need with a good supermarket. La Santa market in the summer is also worth a visit. The coastline is fabulous & worth a drive south to discover some of the beaches. We also hired a boat twice in Saint Feliu de Guixols.

To be improved

Some of those with us from Ireland thought the air conditioning could have been cooler & more efficient in the bedrooms. The wooden Venetian blinds in the bedrooms were tied down and closed. We didn't attempt to open them although it would have been nice to have more natural light in the bedrooms & use the balconies.
