The best

Excellent villa close to everything you need but far enough away to have a relaxing holiday. The villa had everything we needed, what we liked most was the area as it is very relaxing and all we could hear were the animals in the countryside. We would like to highlight the service of the agency, despite it being low season they recommended many places to visit and eat that were only a 5 minute drive away. We recommend the villa, see you next year!

A perfect holiday, we spent a few days at the end of October with the whole family and we were very lucky, the temperature was ideal and my children were able to enjoy the pool - they didn't want to leave. The house is spacious, well equipped and the beds are comfortable. The best thing is the outside area with a large covered terrace, a great barbecue, unobstructed views of the countryside and mountains, the pool and lots of grass where the children can play, run and enjoy. We arrived late for check in and Xisco was waiting for us at the house, with a welcome pack, to give us the keys, show us the house and give us some recommendations. We felt at home and that is wonderful. Best Regards Charles

“Safety issue with wasp infestation and poor service from Majorca Villas in rectifying the situation.”

The beds within the property was very comfortable.

To be improved

Unfortunately the day we arrived at the property we noticed a significant amount of wasps around the swimming pool and outdoor shower area. After our 2nd day it was apparent that the property had an infestation of wasps meaning we couldn’t use the outside pool etc. We contacted Majorca Villas who sent someone to the property twice to apply a treatment the around the bushes near the pool area. Unfortunately this did not work due to the high number of wasps, we were told there were numerous hives located around the bushes and therefore they could not solve the issues. We have 2 young children who were scared of going near the pool and had a high risk of being stung so we asked Majorca Villas to be moved to another villa that was safe. Unfortunately due to being peak season they did not have another property to move us too. Due to no alternative villa for us to move to we had to search for a hotel to spend the rest of our holiday at. This was not an ideal solution for us as we really enjoy villa life, but for the safety of our children had no other option. When we spoke to Majorca Villas they were very understanding of the issue and totally understood our issues and even agreed that it was not safe for the kids in particular. When we requested the refund we were charged the fully amount for the 4 days stay at the villa, even though we could not use the facilities ie pool and outside space. This subsequently meant we payed 1600 euros for a villa that we could only really sleep in. Since returning home we have queried this with Majorca Villas, as we feel having to pay the full amount when we could not use all the facilities. However they have not replied to 2 of our emails we have now sent are seemingly not interested in doing the right thing. poor service. Overall we feel extremely let down by Majorca Villas for not rectifying the issue with the villa and subsequently charging us the full amount when the villa did not have all the facilities it had advertised.
