Villa Ametza

The villa deserves 5 stars. So does the host. Luxurious and complete. Unfortunately, for 4 out of our 5 vacation days, we had to endure constant noise from a large machine breaking rocks with a massive chisel. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is not ideal.

When we arrived one of the tvs wasnt working no big deal but later was accused by the owner of breaking it ,we literally turned it on and it did not work,also sink in our bedroom has bad leak when you turn on water it simply comes through underneath,the main gate latch failed which meant we couldnt lock it,again we were blamed by owners for this,then when arriving home late one night the lock on the main door to the house would not open we Abraham the guy who managed had to come out at 11.00 pm and it took 2 hours until we got entry after the window was smashed ,having inspected the lock ,worringly it looked like someone had tried to kick in the door,we then had to stay in the Villa for the next 2 days for the lock to be fixed and windows replaced..... there is major building work going on 20 yards in front of the property from 8am till 4.00 pm 5 days a week the noise was horrendous which caused appalling amounts of Red/Brown dust which was made worse by 3 days of high winds which covered the outside sitting area this blew in to the Villa when door was open and to great dissapointment the kids were unable to use the pool because of dust ....there is no doubt in a few years the Villa will be a great place to stay but thgis area is not there yet with all the construction also taxis had no idea how to find the villa...and on our last day i reserved an uber to take us to the airport it didnt turn up and we had to walk to the centre to find taxis which are very hit and miss.

There was nothing to dislike. It was perfect.

It is currently near a construction area

Some building noise during the day but this shouldn’t be an issue once nearby properties are completed.
