Stay in FEB 2023 for 1 week: If you want to stay at the Villa Bea you have to know that you do not have the villa at your full disposal: it consists of 2 apartements and a shared garden. When I booked it, I got the impression from the description that I do have the place alone. This should be stated clearer in the description. I was in Villa Bea II (2 bedroom apartment). However, for me, there were quite a few things that made me give this negative rating: FEB is the coldest month in the Canaries. At night, there were only 13-15 degrees. This temperature also enterst he houses as they are not that well insulated. Hence, you use the air condition or other means to heat up your rooms. Villa Bea II has 2 bedrooms and one living room/kitchen that each equipped with an air conditioning. But two oft he 3 air’co’s did not work. One was not heating and the other one seemed to be defect. In the living room, almost all doors of the furnitures (kitchen and TV cabinet) require adjustment as they are not closing properly as the touch each other. The villa has sliding windows that have a hook that goes into the window frame to lock it. In almost all of these windows, this locking did not work anymore so that anyone/burglars on the balcony outside can open them and entert he apartment. I reported it and the answer was just „OK“. Also during my stay, personnal from the governing company as well as the pool cleaners entered the premises (not my apartment tough) to my surprise. If I rent a premises I would like to be informed before when somebody plans to enter my rented object. The personnel from the company came to inspect the other apartment before the new tenants arrive to see if everything is in order. Asking me if all is OK, I told them „no“… I got the answer that tomorrow somebody would come (although no-one came/contacted me) – great, they could have taken notes right away.
