“Perfect home from home, but with sunshine!!”

The best

The location was great, a short drive from the busy part of playa blanca so nice and quiet when you wanted a chill day by the pool or a good night's sleep, but equally only 5 mins away from the lively bars, restraunts and beaches. We stayed as a family of 5 and there was ample room for us all! I'd definately return to this lovely family home! The pool was amazing, we used the washing machine a couple of times a day, the showers were powerful and hot, the WiFi worked great... What more could you ask for. We only spent 1 full day at the villa, the rest of the time we were out and about exploring beaches and different places to eat, but for the come home and shower and rest our heads part, this place was perfect! We even invited family over for a pool day who were staying at the other end of playa blanca as their pool wasn't heated, 10 of us and plenty of room! The homeowner was very helpful and welcoming, always only a txt away if we needed anything at all. Thankyou so much for having us! Xx

To be improved

When we initially arrived, the pool wasn't very clean or warm... But a man did come out and clean the pool thoroughly and somehow made the pool lovely and warm! This is no fault of the homeowners at all, seems it was just one of those things but it made a massive difference once it was done and we really enjoyed it! I'm sure had we of let the owners know, it would have been fixed quicker as the homeowner was so lovely!! But as I said, we were out too much to complain about anything!

The walled-in patio was very private, and the pool was great

To be improved

The property was clean and spacious, but showing wear and tear. The shower heads were mounted extremely high, impossible to reach/direct for a shorter person. The spout of the bathtub faucet in the hallway bathroom was too short, causing the water to land on the rim of the tub, instead of inside the tub.

Location is OK, quite close to supermarket and not too far from playa dorada. Also papagayo is close by about 20min drive.

To be improved

Parking is a nightmare so if you drive be careful. Even though the property provides a parking space you will struggle to park due to neighbours cars in front of the garage space. So decided to park in a free spot in front of the house and the neighbour left a note in my car to not park in there and came knocking at our door at 11pm which is quite late for us as we have a small kid. Very unpleasant.
