The best

The place is solid, spacious, and full of natural light. It’s well-equipped with everything you need, and the location couldn’t be better – close to the marina and a supermarket, which made everything super convenient. It’s also reasonably private The outdoor space really stood out, with plenty of spots to relax – the pool, a simple garden, and balconies where you can sit and unwind. Perfect for a bit of sun or a quiet drink in the evening.

To be improved

While Villa Cala Nit has its positives, there were a few downsides. The villa itself is showing its age, particularly in the kitchen, where a lot of appliances are rusting and clearly worn. Noise was a big issue too – it’s right on a busy road, and with the massive Mercadona next door, the traffic noise is constant day and night. And unfortunately, the marina and boatyard aren’t quiet either, with the sound of sanding and grinding going on during work hours. The neighbours were also closer than we’d hoped, and we had a group of kids jumping over the fence and playing football on our balcony at 7 a.m. Not exactly the relaxing start to the day! It felt like there was no escaping the noise, honestly – I even uploaded a video to show just how loud it can get. Parking is limited, just enough for one car per villa, though there is some free parking nearby. And lastly, the beds were really uncomfortable, and the water kept cutting off mid-shower.
