“Overall, not the best”

The best part was Laura the lady looking after the villa. The location was good. Good air con in bedrooms.

No working safe. Apparently nobody knows where the key is. Washing machine consistently tripping the electric. No machine for 3 days so Laura took our laundry one day and returned it clean. New washing machine delivered which again tripped the electric. Overall the electrical problems were an issue. For example, when you turned on the kettle the kitchen light dimmed, bedside sockets were not stable and in the bathroom the plug repeatedly came out of the socket in the bathroom hairdryer (Laura did bring us another hairdryer). Kitchen equipment was a little sparse, for example the only corkscrew was broken, there were no scissors available, no pizza cutter and the two kitchen knives were blunted. Builders across the road causing noise which we were not pre warned about. A request for a deposit of 900 euros made a few days before we came was a surprise, but when the ‘small print’ was re read it was stated there. Both bathrooms smelly, despite disinfectants used. We have had this problem before in other villas but it was really bad if you did not leave the bathroom doors and windows open. Metal ladder into the pool was wobbly.
