“Amazing Villa”
Everything about Villa Capricho was just perfect. The villa was so comfortable with everything needed. The outside space was perfect, the pool was a nice size to cool down and the shaded dining area was perfect for meals. The bbq was a lovely bonus aswell.. We didn't drive and found walking to shops/restaurants/beach extremely convenient.

“Fantastic villa in a quiet area of Playa Blanca”
We visited Villa Capricho over the February half term, with our 3 teen daughters. It's a super villa, catering for all our needs. The villa is set up well for families, with the heated pool rating high with the girls. The undercover patio area provides a warm, shaded area for all meals. I will miss my morning coffee in the sunshine. On the villa's keys, there's a key for the gate at the bottom of the estate to exit the complex. This path leads to shops, restaurants, and a lovely coffee shop at Bar 12, just 5 minutes away. Communication with the owner was excellent throughout, and we were lucky to have an early check in/ late check out. We would recommend having a hire car, as the villa is tucked away from the main Playa Blanca strip, but this suited us being tucked away from the hussle and bustle. Montana Rojo provides a beautiful backdrop, and this volcano walk is a must for those who love walking and nature. The lighthouse point is 5 minute drive or a 10 minute walk from the villa, which provides an excellent spot at sunset. We visited Playa Blanca for evening restaurants and shopping, Playa Flamingo for snorkelling, sandy beaches, restaurants, and hair braiding. Marina Rubicon is upmarket with lots of shops and restaurants and delcious ice cream. You have to try the blueberry and Philadelphia ice cream! We enjoyed Teguise Market, definitely on the larger scale, enjoying the contrast of traditional spanish stalls, street cafes, and your normal tourist stalls. Aldi and Lidl are local, a few minutes drive away from the villa. Texas Rancho is a must for families, with a zoo and water park in one. The zoo provides your normal zoo experiences with dolphins, sea lions, parrots, and large bird shows. A great way to see these animals with an emphasis on education. Then cool off in the water park with multiple slides, including the Texas bowl, not the faint-hearted. We would highly recommend this spacious, traditional villa, with all day sunshine.
“Pleasant”
Good sized villa and perfect location Bedrooms good Pool good Villa clean and tidy very little inside, parking and location etc.
The villa is great for just a place to sleep. However due to the location it needs to offer a little more. The pool is the attraction but the sunbeds are old and could do with replacing. The shutters on windows are broken and cannot be moved. There is a distinct lack of kitchenware, no teaspoons, we used saucepans as serving bowls. Literally one toilet roll, one bin bag left, beyond minimal. Entry and exit was difficult and no response from customer services. Disappointing 😞
“A relaxing and quiet environment and only a short walk to local stores and restaurants.”
The accommodation is superb and there is room for a good size family. The outdoor space is large although part of the garden is used by the local cats as a toilet. It would have been nice if this had been cleared. The pool was great and didn't need heating as the roll over cover did a perfect job of heating the pool.
The villa is a bit remote from local attractions and we were pleased we hired a car. Its a shame more of the local restaurants didn't have more typical Canarian food on the menu. I don't go abroad to eat roast lamb and Yorkshire pudding on Sunday.
